Herbs Cultural information: "Sweet Cicely" seeds are extremely difficult to germinate. We recommend you visit your local Garden Center to purchase pre-started plants. 

Plant Sweet Cicely in partial shade. Areas with mid day shade are best. Space new container grown plants 24" to 36" apart. Under ideal conditions Sweet Cicely can become invasive.

All parts of the Sweet Cicely are fragrant, but the roots have a strong aroma of licorice.
