Herbs Cultural information: "Winter Savory" is easy to grow from seed. Plant seed after danger of frost has passed spacing seed on 10" to 12" centers. Keep the soil moist until seed has germinated, then water as needed. "Savory" grows well in above ground containers and is a good choice for companion planting.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest "Winter Savory" may be harvested any time after the plant has grown to a stage that cutting won't damage it. "Winter Savory has a stronger, richer flavor than "Summer Savory". 

The leaves may be used fresh or dried. Lay leaves in a single layer to dry in a cool, dry location. Store dried leaves in an tightly closing container.
