Herbs Cultural information: "Common Sage" is easy to grow from seed... but it's very slow growing. You'd be better off purchasing pre-started plants from your local Garden Center. Space pre-started plants 20" to 24" apart in full sun in beds or containers.

Harvesting & Storage: "Common Sage" can be harvested any time and used fresh or dried. Spread sage leaves on paper to dry, in a cool dark area. Place dried leaves in a tight closing container that blocks all light transmission.
