Cultural
information: "Tricolor Sage" is the
prettiest of all the Sages. Its soft green leaves are accented on
the edges with a creamy white margin. New growth emerges purple
but later fades to green.
Tricolor Sage is not winter
hardy in Colorado. It can be planted in outdoor beds after danger
of frost has passed. It best to grow Tricolor Sage in containers so it can be
moved indoors to a sun room or sunny window at the end of the
growing season. Tricolor Sage is an excellent choice for companion
planting. When grown in containers... feed monthly with a
balanced liquid fertilizer while actively growing, feed bi-monthly
while resting.
