Cultural
information: "Golden Sage" can be started
from seed, but for quicker growth purchase small pre-started
plants at your local garden shop or greenhouse. Its nicely
variegated foliage makes Golden Sage an excellent choice for
companion planting in containers.
Plant "Golden Sage"
in beds or containers in full sun. Golden Sage is moderately drought
tolerant. Container grown plants can be moved indoors to a sun
room or sunny window before first frost and kept as a houseplant. Feed
containerized plants monthly when growing... feed bi-monthly if the plant is not
actively producing new growth.
Uses: Aromatic,
Cosmetic, Craft, Culinary, and Ornamental

Harvesting & Storage: "Golden
Sage"
can be harvested any time and used fresh or dried. Lay sage
leaves on paper to dry, in a cool dark area. Place dried leaves in
a tight closing container that blocks all light from entering.
