Herbs Cultural information: Rosemary is a very fragrant herb that has become popular during the Christmas holiday. It is usually found in 6" or 1 gallon containers trained to grow into a variety of shapes. Cones, wreaths and topiaries seem to be the most popular.

"Rosemary" is very difficult to grow from seed, so we suggest you visit your local Garden Center and purchase pre-started plants. Plant the new Rosemary plants in any sunny to partly shady location keeping the soil moist at all times. During the heat of the summer Rosemary appreciates some mid day shade.

Growing "Rosemary" in containers is a plus because the plants can be moved indoors and kept as a houseplant when the growing season ends.

Uses: Aromatic, Cosmetic, Craft, Culinary, Medicinal & Ornamental
