Herbs Cultural information: It is easiest to purchase pre-started Hopely's Purple Oregano plants at your local Garden Center. Plant your "Hopelys' Purple Oregano" in beds or containers in full sun. 

This variety of Oregano in not winter hardy here in Colorado. It grows well in containers and can be moved indoors to a sun room or sunny window before first frost. Feed monthly during the growing season. Feed quarterly if the plant is inactive.

Harvesting & Storage: Hopely's Purple Oregano leaves can be harvested and dried at any time during the growing season. Small bunches can be hung upside down in a warm, dry, dark area for drying. Or leaves can be dried on papers or racks of screens. Store dried leaves in an air tight container.
