Herbs Cultural information: Italian Oregano seeds are difficult to germinate. It may be easier to purchase pre-started plants from your local Garden Center. 

Space plants on 8" centers. Italian Oregano prefers a sunny location with soil that is kept on the dry side. It is a great xeriscape plant.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest Italian Oregano clumps when the plants have matured. Hang the clumps to dry in a warm dark area. Once dried rub the clumps between your hands to crumble the leaves. Discard the stems. Store dried leaves in an air tight container.
