Herbs Cultural information: There are many varieties of "Lavender" available on today's plant market.

English Lavender is a bit difficult to start from seed. We recommend you visit the local Garden Center or greenhouse to purchase individual pre-started plants, or a patio container with Lavender mixed in.

Plant English Laveder in full sun. Space pre-started plants 24" to 36" apart. Once established English Lavender can consume a lot of water.  Check above ground planters on a daily basis.

The name "Lavender" is derived from the Latin word... lavare meaning "to wash".

Uses: Aromatic, Cosmetic, Craft, Culinary, Medicinal and Ornamental
