Herbs Cultural information: "Flax is very easy to grow. Plant seed in rows on 4" spacing. Keep soil moist until the seed sprouts. For a jump start on growth start seeds indoors mid April or purchase pre-started plants from you local Garden Center after danger of frost has passed.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest Flax flowers for their seed just before the flowers fall off the plant. Place flower heads in a paper bag and allow to dry. Gently shake heads to dislodge seed. Store dried seed in an airtight container.
