Herb Cultural information: Once established "Elderberry" is a very robust grower which produces new plants by sending up shoots or suckers near the mother plant. Some times this plants prolific suckering can become a problem. 

To start Elderberry it is best to purchase pre-started containerized plants at your local nursery or garden center.
