Herbs Cultural information: "Dill" does not transplant well. It's best to plant your own seed. Sow Dill seed at 12" spacing after danger of frost has passed. If multiple rows are planted, space the rows 24" apart. Dill will re-seed itself yearly if the plant is allowed to go to seed. Butterflies are attracted to "Dill".

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest fresh leaves when temperatures are cool. Fresh leaves don't keep well but they may be frozen. 

Dry leaves on a cardboard tray in a warm dark area. To collect seed cut bunches and hang upside down in a warm dark area and allow the seeds to fall into a paper sack.
