Herbs Cultural information: "Chives" can be grown from seed or divided and transplanted from established clumps. For faster growth  pre-planted starts can be purchased from your local Garden Center.

Plant clumps of bulbs, or new transplants 6" apart in a sunny location with well drained soil. Divide existing Chives beds every 3 years.

Harvesting & Storage: Fresh leaves can be snipped any time. Harvest entire plant before frost for consumption. Leaves and bulbs are difficult to dry for storage.
