Herbs Cultural information: "Catnip" seeds are very small and difficult to work with. It may be easier to purchase pre-started plants at your local garden center. 

Plant new transplants 18" to 24" apart in well drained soil. Once established the plants will fill in quite rapidly. "Catnip" is susceptible to over watering.

Uses: Aromatic, Culinary, Fragrant, Medicinal and of course... your Cat.

Harvesting & Storage: Gather Catnip leaves in late summer while the plant is blooming. Lay the leaves out to dry in a cool dry area. Once dry store in a Cat proof container.
