Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: Plant Red Flowered Miscanthus in full sun in well drained, fertile soil. 

The "Red Flowered Miscanthus" grass can grow into a very large specimen... be sure to give it plenty of space. It tolerates dry conditions and poor soils well.

Propagation:
Red Flowered Miscanthus can be grown from seed in a cold frame but the process is slow. For quicker results purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center or greenhouse. Once established Red Flowered Miscanthus can be dug and divided in the spring.
