Houseplant Cultural information: This is a really great looking plant that is rare and nearly impossible to find. We hear that the seed is harvested every five years... this could be why they are hard to find.

Place your "Snowflake Plant" in bright indirect lighting. Check for watering weekly allowing the surface soil to dry about two inches in larger containers before watering. In small containers water when the soils surface is dry to the touch. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Propagation via stem cuttings is difficult.

The "Japanese Aralia" looks similar to the "Snowflake Plant".
