Cultural
information: The "Silver Leopard" is
considered a borderline tropical succulent. They are quite
beautiful and easy to care for.
The growers say that "Silver Leopard" can be placed
in low light... but we feel that it should be placed in bright
indirect light for optimum growth. The plant tends to fill it's
entire container making it difficult to check for watering. If you
can't water by feel... use the weight method. When you purchase
your new plant, make sure it has been thoroughly watered. Note how
much it weights. Check your plants weight weekly. When it feels
fairly light or is just beginning to wilt... it's time to water.
The bulbs of this plant stores water... so you may not need to
water your plant but every 2 weeks. Feed bi-monthly. Propagate by
dividing the plant.
"Silver Leopards" are available in 6" containers
and smaller.
