Cultural
information: This very fragrant herb is quite popular
during the Christmas holidays. Rosemary can be found all dressed up for the
holidays in several forms... wreaths or rings (pictured), cone
shaped trees, topiary balls and upright bushes.
"Rosemary" plants are a bit difficult to grow indoors
in Colorado...
and should be considered a disposable plant similar to your
Poinsettia. With that in mind they could be placed any where in
the home or office. If the plant declines in health just discard
it. If you want to keep your plant long term, place it in direct
sunshine or very bright filtered natural light for at least one
half day in duration. Keep the soil moist... but not soggy. Feed
monthly. If you recently acquired your plant, we recommend not
using it for cooking during the first year to allow commercial
production chemicals to dissipate from the plant.
"Rosemary" can be found at your local garden center
year round in several of the smaller container sizes.
