Cultural
information: Actually a member of the Dracaena family,
the "Malaysian Dracaena" is one of three plants in this
family. It's cousins, "Song of India" and "Song of Jamaica"
are very colorful.
Place your Pleomele in bright filtered light for best growth.
These plants will survive in artificial light if the lighting is
bright. "Malaysian Dracaenas" are not large water
consumers and susceptible to over-watering. In larger containers
allow the soil to dry 3 to 4 inches from the surface between
waterings. Avoid getting water on the foliage. As with all
Dracaenas... feed your plant only once a year. Propagation of stem
cuttings is difficult. Pleomele reflexa is available in 6"
containers thru large specimen plants.
