10" Screw Pine
Houseplant Cultural information: This is a really cool plant that spirals as it grows. They are quite easy to care for. It's long arched leaves have teeth running the length of the leaf. Pictured is the green form... it's cousin Pandanus veitchii, is variegated green and white.

Before shopping for a "Screw Pine" make sure that you have a large area to keep your plant in. As it gains height... it gains nearly the same width. Place your Pandanus in either direct sunshine or very bright indirect light. Depending on container size... allow the soil to dry down 3" to 4" between waterings. Water thoroughly allowing a small amount of water to leach to the drip trap. Do not let the plant sit in water. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer.

"Screw Pines" are usually available in 10" and larger containers.
