Houseplant Cultural information: "Emerald Gems" low growth habit makes them the perfect choice for an area with height restrictions. Place your Homalomena plant in bright filtered light... away from cold drafts. Homalomena's dislike cold air. Check for water weekly, allowing the surface of the soil to dry down. Water your plant with tepid water... again, they hate cold. Do not allow your plant to sit in a saucer of water... this will surely cause root rot. Feed bi-monthly. Propagation is very difficult.

Homalomena "Emerald Gem" is available in 6" pots as well as 8" and 10" containers.
