Cultural information: "Dallas Fern" is the man made cousin of the "Boston Fern". The only difference between the two is that "Dallas Fern" grows in a more compact round shape with much shorter leaves and fronds. Keep your "Dallas Fern" in bright filtered light. If your plant is new... check it for water every few days until you become accustomed to it's water requirements and schedule. Keep the soil moist at all times. The foliage will loose it's dark green appearance and become some what translucent when to dry. If your plant was grown as an upright plant... place it on a pebble tray for extra humidity. If it is a hanging basket... mist it daily. Propagate by dividing the plant.

"Dallas Ferns" are available as small starter plants, 6" and 8" upright plants and hanging baskets.
