8" Fishtail Palm
Houseplant Cultural information: "Fishtail Palms" leaves have a jagged edge looking similar to a fishes tail. They are a bit tricky to grow and best left to an experienced plant collector. Keep your palm in an area with bright filtered light. Atriums, enclosed heated swimming pools, home greenhouses are an excellent location for your plant. Keep the potting medium moist... but not soggy. Daily misting is always a plus. Feed monthly with a balanced plant food. Feed quarterly with trace elements... available at your local garden center.

When shopping for a "Fishtail Palm"... chances are you'll only find them in 10" containers, up thru larger specimen plants.
