Cultural information: The "Rainbow Tree" is the most colorful in the Marginata family of plants. There are two other varieties that are also quite colorful... bi-color and tri-color.

All three of the colorful Marginata's require bright light to maintain their color. Place your "Rainbow Tree" in an area that receives early morning or late day sunshine for at least part of the day. As your plant grows... it's normal for it to loose lower leaves and slowly turn into a tree. If your plant become to tall or leggy... just cut it back to the desired height. Within a month or two... your plant will branch out with multiple heads where it was cut.  Allow the surface soil to dry down 2" to 3" on 10" or larger containers... 1" to 2" on 8" and smaller containers. Feed once annually with a balanced liquid plant food.

"Rainbow Tree" is available as small 3" and 4" starter plants thru 10" containers. Occasionally a larger specimen plant in a 12" or 14" container can be found.
