Cultural
information: "Starbright" is a recently
introduced, vividly colored Dieffenbachia. This plant looks and
behaves more like a "Chinese Evergreen" than a
Dieffenbachia. Your "Starbright" will do best if placed
in bright filtered light. Check for watering weekly... allowing
the soil to dry one or two inches from the surface. Feed
bi-monthly with Peter's Plant Food. Propagation is very difficult.
"Starbright" is available from your local floral shop
or garden center as a small starter plant in 4" pots, or
6" and 8" containers. The sap in all Dieffenbachia
species are toxic... see our poisonous
plants list for more information.
