An upright plant usually not over 36" in height or 24" in width.

Normal indoor temps, but keep the plant warm.
Humidity:
Not critical.
Pests: Watch for spider mites.

3" Croton Banana
Cultural information: Croton "Banana" can usually be found in dish gardens or foliage combination pots. They require bright light to maintain their coloration. In low light the plant will simply turn green. All crotons dislike cold water and cold drafts. Chilling will cause the plant to drop lower foliage. Water sparingly with tepid water. Feed with Peter's plant food while the plant is actively growing. Propagation by stem cutting is difficult.

These plants are usually found in small 3 or 4 inch containers, occasionally they can be found in 6 and 8 inch pots.
