As spring nears, or some times just when ever the plant wants to... your "Column Cactus" may decide to bloom for you. To view the flowers you'll need to get up at least an hour before sunrise. The flower above was caught in day light... but it's about half closed.

If your flowers becomes pollinated, they will develop into large... red apple like  fruits that will contain hundreds of "Column Cactus" seed.
