Pictured Houseplant: 6" Algerian Ivies
Houseplant Cultural information: Algerian Ivies are available in two forms... solid green and variegated. Algerian Ivies are relatively easy houseplants to grow.

The solid green variety does not require as much light as the variegated variety. This rule seems to hold true with most houseplants. Algerian Ivy should thrive if placed near any window except north. The solid green variety will do nicely in a northern exposure.

Allow the soil of Algerian Ivy to dry down on the surface before watering, then water until you see seepage comes from the drain holes. It is important to water any plant all the way around the pot, not just on one side.

Feed monthly with any quality houseplant food while actively growing. Feed quarterly when inactive.

Algerian Ivy can be propagated by placing stem cuttings in water or moist vermiculite. If propagated in vermiculite cover the cutting and container with a clear plastic bag.

Common houseplant pests include: Aphids, Foliar Mealy bug, and Spider mites.

They are usually found in 6" containers and hanging baskets.  Root cuttings in a container of water.
