Houseplant Cultural information: The "Norfolk" pine is quite popular around the Christmas holidays. Larger specimens can actually be used as a live Christmas tree. Norfolk Island Pines are a bit tricky to grow. They need fairly bright light shining on all areas of the plant. If light only shines on the upper half of the plant... you may loose the lower branches. Rotate the plant weekly if one side is against a wall. Check for water weekly. This plant prefers to stay moist... but no soggy. Feed monthly with Peter's Plant Food, available from our sponsors.

"Norfolk Island Pines are available as 3" and 4" starter plants to six foot specimens in 14" containers. They are usually found with several plants in the pot... within the trade they are called multis.
