Houseplant Cultural information: These beautiful and unusual plants are some times difficult to find. Madagascar palms prefer very strong sunlight from either an east, south or west window for at least one half day. At the on set of winter the plant may drop it's leaves. Don't think it is dying... it's just going into a state of dormancy. Over watering can also be a cause of leaf loss. Feed only when you notice the plant is actively growing. Water your Madagascar palm sparingly... as it's thick fleshy trunks can store water.

"Madagarcar" palms are generally available in 6" containers thru large 14" specimen plants.
