Cultural
information: Kentia palms are what we call the Mercedes
of the palm family. They are quite expensive... very slow growing,
extremely hardy and very adaptable to the interior environment.
The Kentia palm will do best in an area with no direct sunshine...
but bright enough to read in. Keep their soil moist allowing it to
dry partially once a month. Do not allow the plant to sit in
water. Feed bi-monthly with Peter's Plant Food. Do not disturb the
roots when transplanting to a larger container.
Kentia Palms are
available in several container sizes ranging from 3 foot to 12
foot specimens. They are quite expensive. |
