Cultural information: This hard to find Dieffenbachia is one of the hardier plants in the "Dumb Cane" family. Place your plant where there is enough light to read by... but out of direct sunshine. In larger sizes the plant maybe able to go just over a week between waterings... allowing the surface of the soil to dry. Under watering this plant is much better than over watering it. Feed bi-monthly. Propagation is difficult by dividing the plant. Dieffenbachia lancifolia can be found in 6" thru 10" containers with a bit of searching.
