General Filler Flower Care: Keep the water in the vase of your Queen Anne's Lace fresh. Replace the water every 3 days with cold water keeping the water level near the top of the vase.

Re-cut 1/2" from the base of each Queen Anne's Lace stem under water using a sharp knife with each water change. Remove any foliage that may become submerged after re-cutting.

Variety note: Related to carrots Queen Anne's Lace is an inexpensive filler flower. It is very susceptible to ethylene damage. Queen Anne's Lace can be dried in a warm, dry, dark area and used in dry arrangements or crafts. Spraying the dried plant with fixative will remove some of its brittleness.

Queen Anne's lace is a long bunch measuring up to 36" in length. There are two varieties available in the floral trade, green and white. Flowers heads are basically the same but the foliage is different. Green Queen Anne's Lace has fine delicate looking foliage while white has foliage with larger leaves. Queens Anne's Lace is usually sold in a 10 stem bunch.

Add a commercial floral preservative such as AquaPlus or FloraLife to the vase that contains your Queen Anne's Lace with each water change. Floral preservative helps to prevent bacteria growth, aids in keeping vase water clear, and feeds your flowers and foliages insuring a longer vase life.

To make your own cut flower food mix 1/2 teaspoon of table sugar to a quart of cold water... mixing thoroughly.
