General Floral Greens Care: Keep the water in the vase of your Seeded Eucalyptus fresh. Replace the water every 3 days with cold water maintaining the water level near the top of the vase. Re-cut 1/2" from the base of each Seeded Eucalyptus stem under water using a sharp knife with each water change. Remove any foliage that may become submerged after re-cutting to avoid bacteria growth.

Variety note: Pronounced (yew-ka-lip-tus) The pictured floral green is called Naked Seeded Eucalyptus. Its leaves have been removed exposing the small seed pods. This exotic floral green adds texture to any arrangement.

There are literally dozens of Eucalyptus cultivars available within the floral trade, with most varieties exhibiting a distinct Eucalyptus aroma. Most varieties of Eucalyptus are sold as a 10 stem bunch.

Add a commercial floral preservative such as AquaPlus or FloraLife to the vase that contains your Seeded Eucalyptus with each water change. Floral preservative helps to prevent bacteria growth and feeds your flowers insuring a longer vase life.

To make your own cut flower food mix 1/2 teaspoon of table sugar to a quart of cold water... mixing thoroughly.
