The First Denver Plants Drawing Winner Meet Rebecca
Rebecca and her dog Baby... won the first Denver Plants subscription drawing. On June 27th Rebecca received her brand new copy of the American Horticultural Society's A to Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants. Rebecca is a Colorado native that lives south Denver. The house she lives in has been in the family for two generations. As you can see by the photo... her yard is jungle mixed with annuals, perennials and a very long row of whiskey barrel planters brimming with color. An accountant by trade... Rebecca likes to spend most of her free time gardening and watching the birds that visit her feeders. Our next Drawing will be held in September for a difficult to find copy of Herb Gundell's Complete Guide to Rocky Mountain Gardening in hardback form. Do any of you natives remember ol Herb?
