Cultivation: The 'Quartz' series of Verbena are excellent garden performers. They have a spreading, mounded growth habit and hold their flowers well above the foliage. The brightly colored flowers of Verbena are excellent for attracting Butterflies.

Plant Verbena Quartz Scarlet in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil either in beds or containers. Space plants 8" - 12" apart. Keep the soil moderately moist. Try to avoid overhead watering to help prevent occurrences of powdery mildew. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer.

Available colors: Blue (the only Blue Verbena), Burgundy, Rose Scarlet, White, Polka Dot Mix, and Quartz Mix.

Potential pests ~ diseases: Aphids or whiteflies.
