Cultivation: Aztec ™ Verbenas are somewhat mounded to trailing in habit... and are quite heat tolerant. They are an excellent choice for containers and hanging baskets, as well as beds. The brightly colored flowers of Verbena are excellent for attracting Butterflies.

Plant Verbena Aztec Red in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil either in beds or containers. Space plants 10" - 12" apart. Keep the soil moderately moist. Try to avoid overhead watering to help prevent occurrences of powdery mildew. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer.

Available colors: Dark Purple Improved, Deep Lavender Improved, Hot Pink Improved, Lavender Improved, Lilac Picotee, Pink Magic, Plum, Raspberry, Red, Rose Pink Improved and White.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Aphids or whiteflies.
