Cultivation: "Mexican Sunflower" produces beautiful bright orange single petaled Dahlia like flowers measuring 2.5" to 3" across. Butterflies love them, and their great for cutting. An excellent choice for hot, sunny beds as Tithonia is heat and drought tolerant.

Plant Tithonia Torch in full sun in any well drained soil. Space plants 12" - 24" apart. Water lightly only when the soil is dry. Feed 2 or 3 times per season.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Rare, occasionally slugs.
