| Cultivation:
Pronounced: Por choo la ka. The 'Margarita' series is a
compact, early flowering Moss Rose that freely produces large
semi-double flowers. A good choice for the sunny... annual rock
garden.
Plant Moss Rose Margarita Banana in full sun in any well drained soil in beds or
containers. Drainage is a key element to successfully growing
'Moss Rose". Space plants 8" - 16" apart depending
on how quickly you want the area to fill in. Moss Rose
does best in hot, sunny dry areas. Water when the soil looks dry or the plants are beginning to wilt. Feed monthly with a
balanced liquid fertilizer.
Most cultivars of Portulaca grandiflora readily re-seed themselves
appearing in the garden again the next season.

(Yellow), Coconut (White), Cream, Orange, Rosita (Vibrant Hot
Pink), Strawberry (Scarlet), and a Mix.
