Cultivation: There are two types of Zonal Geraniums. Those that are grown
from seed... which are small flowered, and the large flowered
variety (pictured), which are grown from cuttings. The small
flowered variety is good for beds where large amounts of area
needs to be filled. The large flowered variety is ideal for
containers, houseplants and small beds. The brightly colored
flowers of Geranium's are excellent for attracting hummingbirds.
Plant in fertile, well drained soil in full sun or partial
shade after danger of hard frost has passed. Feed every 2 - 3
weeks. Plants can be moved indoors to full sun before first frost.
