Cultivation: When the leaves of the "Mosquito Plant" are rubbed or disturbed they release a Citronella scent which is slightly helpful in repelling the pesky critters. Don't expect the plant to rid your patio of Mosquito's though... instead you could rub a leaf of the plant on your skin to help repel the pests. 

Plant in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil, in beds or containers. Potted "Mosquito Plants" can be moved indoors to a sun room or sunny window at the end of the growing season.
