Cultivation:
When the leaves of the "Mosquito Plant" are rubbed
or disturbed they release a Citronella scent which is slightly
helpful in repelling the pesky critters. Don't expect the plant to
rid your patio of Mosquito's though... instead you could rub a
leaf of the plant on your skin to help repel the pests.
Plant in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil,
in beds or containers. Potted "Mosquito Plants" can be
moved indoors to a sun room or sunny window at the end of the
growing season.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Rare.
