| Cultivation:
If you have Hummingbirds in your area the
brightly colored 1" to 2" flowers of the Nicotiana 'Hummingbird' series is sure to
attract them. These compact plants are excellent for containers or
beds.
Plant Nicotiana Hummingbird Mix in full sun to light shade in moist fertile well drained
soil in beds or containers. Space plants 10" - 12"
apart. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Nicotiana
tends to struggle a bit during the heat of the summer... planting
in an area with midday shade, and keeping their soil moist will
help extend the flower season.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Aphids, rarely viruses or
whiteflies.
