Ipomoea Tricolor has the most stunning foliage of the four cultivars... and it's the hardest of the lot to grow. If you can find an nice looking, vigorous plant at your local Garden Center... it should grow just fine. They are difficult to start from seed or cuttings... so their availability is always lower, and possible priced a bit higher.

Plant Tricolor Sweet Potato Vine in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Once established 'Black Heart' is a vigorous grower that is well suited to containers or hanging baskets. Try growing one on a trellis and moving it indoors to a sunny window for the winter.

Leaf spots or spider mites.
