Cultivation: "Sweet Potato Vine" is in the same family as "Morning Glories"... both a climbing vine. 'Marguarite' is the Chartreuse version of "Sweet Potato Vine". Its not nearly as vigorous as the two dark colored cultivars. Its excellent to use in mixed containers trailing over the edge. Also known as "Terrace Lime".

Plant Ipomoea Marguarite in full sun to light shade in fertile well drained soil. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Once established 'Black Heart' is a vigorous grower that is well suited to containers or hanging baskets. Try growing one on a trellis and moving it indoors to a sunny window for the winter.
