Cultivation: Pronounced ger' ber a. "Transvaal Daisy" is related to the beautiful cut flower type that you'll see in your local flower shop. 'Festival' is a compact variety with small leaves and 3.5" flowers. Generally they are only available in a mix of Salmon, Scarlet, Rose, White and Yellow.

Plant Gerbera Festival Mix in full sun in fertile well drained soil. "Transvaal Daisy" can be grown either in beds or containers. Feed bi-weekly with a balanced liquid fertilizer.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Aphids, powdery mildew or spider mites.
