| Cultivation:
Pronounced... few sha. This beautiful Fuchsia may be difficult
to locate. It's not as prolific at flowering as the other
cultivars... but it's outstanding foliage makes up for it. Its
also considered an
upright Fuchsia... but is most often found grown in hanging
baskets. It can be grown in beds or containers in full sun to
partial late day shade.
Plant in moist fertile soil that is well
drained. 'Sun Ray' is very heat tolerant. The leading cause
of Fuchsia decline is over-watering. Be sure to allow the soil to
dry down between waterings.
Fuchsia plants can be moved indoors to a sun
room or greenhouse before first frost.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Aphids, spider mites or
whiteflies.
