| Cultivation:
Pronounced... few-sha. This beautiful Fuchsia known as 'Leineperle'
will deliver a constant shower of flowers all season long. It is considered an
upright Fuchsia... but is most often found grown in hanging
baskets. It can also be grown in beds or containers in full sun to
partial late day shade.
Plant in moist fertile soil that is well
drained. 'Leineperle' is very heat tolerant. The leading cause
of Fuschia decline is over-watering. Be sure to allow the soil to
dry down between waterings. Plants can be moved indoors to a sun
room or greenhouse before first frost.
The brightly colored
flowers of Fuchsia's are excellent for attracting hummingbirds.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Aphids, spider mites or
whiteflies.
