Cultivation: Like 'Little Charmer'... 'Red Ace' has exceptionally large... intensely colored flowers. It is an early bloomer with a compact growth habit. Plant in full sun in fertile well drained soil. Keep the soil moist... but not soggy. 

Diascia Red Ace is probably best suited to be grown in mixed containers, hanging baskets or window boxes... although they can be grown in beds. 

Space plants 8" - 10" apart. They'll produce showers of flowers in spring to early summer until the daytime temperatures get really hot. Hardy to 28 degrees. 

Diascia derives it's Latin name from two words... di meaning two and askos meaning pouch... referring to the flower. 

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Slugs.
