'Flying Colors Coral'
Cultivation:
'Diascia Coral' is a Proven Winners annual. Its part of the Flying Colors™ line of
plants originally imported from the Netherlands. At the 2002
Annual Trial Gardens at CSU... Diascia 'Flying Colors Coral'
received the Best of Show award. The plant derives
it's Latin name from two words... di meaning two and askos
meaning pouch... referring to the flower.
Plant Flying Colors Coral in full sun to partial shade in fertile well drained
soil. Keep the soil moist... but not soggy. Diascia is probably
best suited to be grown in mixed containers or window boxes, but can be grown in beds. Space plants 8" -
10" apart. They'll produce tremendous showers of flowers in
spring to early summer until it gets hot.
Twinspur is hardy to 35 degrees.
