Cultivation: Plant Delosperma Purple Ice Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Purple Ice Plants do well in most soil types. Once established Ice Plants tolerate short periods of drought quite well.  In areas where hardy the plant prefers to over winter in dry soil. "Purple Ice Plant" is occasionally found as a house plant in the Cactus and Succulent department.

Propagation:
Start seed in a cold frame in early spring... or plant seed directly in ground after danger of hard frost has passed. For quicker results... purchase pre-started plants in pots or packs at your local Garden Center.
